Rexylab FORTRESS

In order to explain what that is I need to tell you a little about me. 

My “real job” is commercial deep sea diver in the Gulf of Mexico. I have been at it since 1999. I am originally from Seattle and when I came to southern Louisiana I left everything I knew behind. The culture shock was very intense and I got homesick pretty quick. The girl I thought I was going to marry decided she didn’t want to move here and out of loneliness and being very bitter I developed a drinking problem. 

As time progressed I started making more money than I ever dreamed of but I was miserable. I tried to drink the pain away, didn’t work. I tried to buy stuff to make the pain go away, didn’t work. In 2015 my drinking was out of control and I was in a dying relationship. When it all fell apart I didn’t know how I was going to be able to go on, let alone ever find purpose or happiness in my life.

I was lucky though. In 2014 I found a page on Facebook called Metal Motivation. The founder, C.J. Ortiz had a private pay group called The Life Domination Online Coaching Program that I had joined. 

Early in 2020 C.J. announced that he was shutting down his coaching program. Because I had went from hot mess to a leader in the group he named me as his possible successor. I figured if he couldn’t pull it off how would I. Then I started getting private messages from people in that group. From sad to panicked the message was alway the same, what are you gonna do?

As of March 6, 2017 I have been alcohol free. I don’t go to meetings or anything, I just found a way to stop. After a lot of work on myself I have gotten to the best version of me I have ever been. When I started Rexylab in 2019 I had told everyone that I was going to find a way to use all I had learned to help everyone I could be happier and just better in general. 

Now with this opportunity how could I say no?

So I created Rexylab Fortress. About half of the Life Domination Online Coaching Program people came over to the new group. Unlike that group, Rexylab Fortress is free and not a coaching program. It is simply a place for people to help each other become the best they can be. No haters, politics or religion is allowed in the group. There are other places for that. It is simply a place for people to share their victories, failures, life changing events, advice, and support. This isn’t a place where people blow sunshine up your ass, we want to hear your struggles as well as your triumphs. 

As the group evolved the members started calling themselves “Fortress Warriors”. I think that is a fitting title.
